Education

The Center has a long history of preparing healthcare professionals and enhancing the skills of clergy in the ministry of counseling and pastoral care. We extend that outreach to our greater community by offering workshops for business professionals, individuals, families and couples on a variety of life issues.

We currently offer three programs:

The Ecumenical Center offers the Specialty in Pastoral Counseling course and community-based workshops for clergy and lay leaders in the Rio Grande Valley. These programs were created especially with and for Latino and Latina pastors of South Texas.
