Advancing Research and Treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries

September was National Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness Month.

The Center prides itself in being one of the first providers of the groundbreaking traumatic brain injury treatment known as Neurofeedback in San Antonio.

Also known as EEG Biofeedback and Neurotherapy, Neurofeedback is a way of treating traumatic brain injury which encourages the brain to restore or establish a more stable and holistic functioning, thus improving mental, emotional, and physical health.

Neurofeedback has proven effective in helping to remediate a number of conditions, including problems with attention (ADHD), anger, anxiety, impulse control, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, borderline personality disorder, affective disorders, and traumatic brain injury.

The Center has recently received a grant from the Methodist Healthcare Ministries to offset the costs of Neurofeedback treatment for clients age 18 years old and younger who qualify. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in Neurofeedback therapy, please contact us at 210.616.0885 for more information.
