Marisa graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Therapy and a Minor in Psychology. She enjoys using music to help each client to explore the creative process and develops treatment plans based on each individual’s therapeutic goals.
Marisa utilizes music as a tool to cultivate self-expression, build coping skills, establish healthy boundaries, and provide emotional support in a clinical setting to help clients reach their optimal potential. She works with children, groups, survivors of trauma, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities to help clients overcome the difficulties related to behavioral and neurological disorders. She has been with us since June of 2020.
