We invite you to join us on September 11th from 6 pm to 8 pm for the Art Heals Hearts event at The Ecumenical Center. This inspiring evening will feature talented artists who courageously share their personal journeys through the transformative power of art.
Guests will have the unique opportunity to purchase these remarkable art pieces, perfect for gifting or enhancing your home. All proceeds will support the Therapeutic Arts Institute of South Texas.

Artwork Criteria
The Center serves 26,000 individuals annually, half of whom are children. Your contribution is crucial in helping us provide these vital services and continue making a positive impact in our community.
We are dedicated to providing an art show that demonstrates universal human emotions and/or personal experiences with pain, hope, life affirmation and/or the healing process. We are looking for art which may cause meaningful reflection, inspires hope and honors the process of healing. Therefore, the content should appropriately reflect “family friendly” imagery.
Eligibility and Restrictions
- Participation is open to all San Antonio area artists of all ages, working in all media.
- The value of an art piece may not exceed $5,000.
- Each artist can submit up to 5 works.
- All art mediums are eligible.
- Artwork must fit through a 35” entry door.
- Some outdoor display areas are available.

Important Dates
- Entry Deadline: August 28, 2024 – Entries must be submitted online or sent via email to Lcenanovic@ecrh.org
- Notification of Acceptance: Artist will be contacted by August 30, 2024
