Health & Harmony: Music That Meets People Where They Are

When words fall short, music can speak volumes by shifting moods, sparking memories, and opening people up to connection. That’s the idea behind Health & Harmony, our innovative music-centered outreach that combines therapeutic support with artistry.

At the heart of the program is a team of peer support specialists who are also trained musicians. Through one-on-one interactions, small-group sessions, and large-scale events, they use live music to engage individuals facing a wide range of challenges that can range from isolation and cognitive decline to trauma and developmental disabilities.

Last year, Health & Harmony reached more than 5,000 people across senior centers and nonprofit organizations, including services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’ve also hosted outdoor concerts, which are open to all and grounded in the belief that healing is possible for everyone.

It’s one more way we bring connection to the forefront of wellness, one song at a time.
