Chuck and Yoli first chaired the Legacy of Hope Luncheon featuring Elizabeth Smart as our guest speaker in 2015.
Their exposure to the expanding role of counseling, education and mental health services to our community led to their acceptance of chairing, as a couple, The Center’s Foundation Board.
During this time, under strong, compassionate leadership, they have seen The Center continue to grow due to its ability to recognize and address the needs of the community.
As chairmen of the board, Chuck and Yoli have noticed that the community has many major needs—the most important being the needs of our veterans.
Both Chuck, a Navy veteran, and Yoli applaud The Center’s work with our community’s large veteran population. With the announcement of the Texas Health & Human Services grant to support veterans and their families, The Center’s veteran services will expand dramatically.
2017 marks The Center’s 50th Anniversary. It is a time to celebrate and say thanks to so many who over the years have made The Center what it is today.
Chuck and Yoli have said about their tenure as chairmen: “We are blessed to play a small role in The Center’s success.”
