Pets are a powerhouse of mental health benefits. They bring us joy, comfort, and companionship, lowering our blood pressure and boosting our mood with a simple wag, lick, or look.
You know how good your pet makes you feel, so why not spread your pet's love through our fun photo fundraiser?
Submit your favorite photo of your pet—be it furry, feathered, finned, or other—in one of the five categories below for a $25 donation per entry.
If you can't choose just one, you can enter additional photos of the same pet for only $10 each.
The deadline to submit is September 30, 2025.
Once submissions close, voting will take place on our social media, where you can rally your friends and followers to help your pet take home the gold.
Winners will receive a personalized 3”x4” plaque featuring their pet's and/or family name, proudly displayed in our puppy play area at our headquarters in the South Texas Medical Center.

That's why all proceeds will go toward supporting mental health and wellness programs in our community. That includes art therapy, grief support, and outreach programs that help people connect, feel validated, and heal.
