On Saturday June 1, The Ecumenical Center hosted the first Veterans Candlelight Dinner. This event was a special way for us to thank our veterans and their families for their sacrifice. We also informed them of The Center’s many counseling and therapy services for veterans, including support groups, psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Post Traumatic Stress therapies such as Neurofeedback and EDMR. A grant from the Texas Veterans Commission continues to help us provide these important services to active and former military members and their families
The mental health and well-being of veterans is always a priority for The Center. We are always seeking new ways to draw attention to veterans’ needs and the sacrifice they made. We thank everyone who attended for making the Veterans Candlelight Dinner a success. We hope to make this an annual event! For more information on veterans services, click here.
