Youth Summit: Empowering Young People to Support Each Other

Mental health support doesn’t have to start in adulthood. Our Youth Mental Health Summit equips both middle and high school students with the tools they need to navigate emotional challenges for themselves and their peers.

This annual event brings together students from across the region for hands-on learning about:

  • How to recognize when a friend is struggling
  • What to do if someone needs help
  • How to speak up—and reach out—when things feel overwhelming

Understanding that these kids are waking up early for this, we do our part to make sure that this is more than another lecture. We make it interactive, youth-led, and designed to be both practical and personal. At our most recent summit, more than 50 students showed up. This is a testament to how when motivated young people are trusted with responsibility, they rise to meet the occasion.
